  • 8 oz Ahi Tuna (Sashimi Grade) Fresh and tender fish for the filling.
  • 1 medium Avocado Adds creaminess to the tacos.
  • 1 cup Cooked Sticky Rice Hearty element that binds the fillings together.
  • 1 medium Cucumber Provides crunch and freshness.
  • 2 tbsp Spicy Mayo Adds a zesty finish to the tacos.
  • 2 tbsp Eel Sauce Enhances the flavor profile.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Prepare the tempura batter according to package instructions until smooth and free of lumps.
  • Cut the nori sheets into taco shapes—triangles or semicircles.

Cooking

  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Dip each nori taco shell in the tempura batter and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 1-2 minutes per side.
  • In a bowl, combine diced ahi tuna with spicy mayo until well coated.

Assembly

  • Fill each fried nori shell with warm sticky rice.
  • Top with spicy ahi tuna, creamy avocado slices, and crisp cucumber.
  • Drizzle eel sauce over the assembled sushi tacos and serve immediately.

Notes
