Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Season the shrimp with paprika, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the shrimp for about 2 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, brown the sliced jalapeño cheddar sausages until aromatic. Remove from heat.
  • In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat and sauté minced garlic, diced onion, and red bell pepper until the onion is translucent.
  • Add chicken broth and soy sauce to the pot and bring to a simmer.

Cooking

  • Stir in milk, cream cheese, and shredded cheddar cheese until combined into a creamy broth.
  • Cook ramen noodles in the pot until tender, about 3 minutes.
  • Return the shrimp and sausages to the pot and mix gently.

Serving

  • Serve in bowls topped with halved soft-boiled eggs, sliced jalapeños, green onions, and a drizzle of chili oil if desired.

Notes

For additional flavor, marinate the shrimp in lime juice for 15 minutes before cooking. Customize vegetables with mushrooms, bok choy, or carrots for added texture. Increase chili powder for extra spice.
