Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a saucepan, combine water and sugar, and bring to a boil to create a simple syrup.
  • Once the sugar is dissolved, remove the saucepan from heat and let it cool.

Making the Sorbet

  • In a blender, puree the fresh berries and lemon juice until smooth.
  • Combine the berry puree with the cooled syrup. Stir well.

Freezing

  • Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for at least 4 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
  • Once fully frozen, scoop and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a splash of vanilla extract or mint. Taste before freezing to adjust sweetness.
