Preparation

  • Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces for even cooking.
  • Combine chicken, frozen vegetables, cream of chicken soup, and milk in a slow cooker.
  • Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and thyme. Stir well.
  • Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours.
  • Mix Bisquick with melted butter and add milk if necessary to form a soft dough.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit mixture over the chicken filling once it's ready.
  • Cover and cook for an additional 30 to 45 minutes until the biscuit topping is golden.
  • Serve hot, optionally garnished with parsley or thyme.

Notes

For a heartier meal, consider adding diced potatoes or sweet corn. Experiment with herbs according to your taste. To save time, prep the chicken and vegetables the night before.
