Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook the rice according to the package instructions. Rinse under cold water, combine with water (1:1 ratio), and simmer until fluffy. Set aside.
  • Marinate beef strips in a bowl with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let sit for about 15 minutes.

Cooking

  • Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat until hot.
  • Fry the marinated beef for 3-4 minutes until crispy and browned. Set aside.
  • In the same pan, stir-fry garlic, ginger, and bell peppers for 3-4 minutes until slightly crisp.
  • Return the beef to the pan, add chili sauce and sugar, and mix well.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve the crispy beef over the seasoned rice, garnishing if desired.
