Instructions

Cooking

  • Sprinkle in the flour, stirring constantly for about 2 minutes to create a roux.
  • Gradually pour in the milk and chicken broth, followed by the Dijon mustard and garlic powder. Season with the remaining salt.
  • Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then let it simmer until thickened.
