Ingredients
  

For the filling

  • 2 cups fresh blackberries Wash gently to avoid bruising.
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese Adds creamy richness.
  • 1/4 cup honey Provides sweetness.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice For a bright flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch Helps thicken the filling.

For the crust and topping

  • 1 pre-made pie crust pre-made pie crust For convenience.
  • 1 large egg For egg wash.
  • 1 tablespoon sugar For sprinkling on the crust.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a medium-sized bowl, gently combine the blackberries, crumbled feta cheese, honey, lemon juice, and cornstarch.
  • Roll out the pre-made pie crust onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Assembly

  • Spoon the blackberry mixture into the center of the crust, leaving a 1-2 inch border all around.
  • Carefully fold the edges of the crust over the filling, pleating as necessary.
  • Brush the exposed crust with the egg wash and sprinkle with sugar.

Baking

  • Place the galette in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  • Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before slicing.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 2-3 days.
