  • 4 cups broccoli florets Blanched

  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions
 

Marinating the Beef

  • In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, cornstarch, brown sugar, and rice vinegar.
  • Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade and toss to coat.
  • Let the beef marinate for 15-20 minutes.

Preparing the Broccoli

  • Bring a pot of water to a boil and blanch the broccoli florets for 2 minutes.
  • Immediately plunge the blanched broccoli into ice water to maintain its bright green color and crisp texture.

Cooking the Dish

  • In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add minced garlic and ginger, sautéing until fragrant.
  • Add the marinated beef to the skillet in a single layer and sear without stirring until browned and cooked through.
  • Stir in the blanched broccoli, oyster sauce, and sesame oil, mixing until well combined.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

This dish pairs well with fluffy rice or steaming noodles. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days. For variations, substitute beef with chicken or tofu if desired.
